Hi! I'm Corinne.
Screen Revolt started as my mantra for taking control over my life. I have struggled with technology addiction my whole life, from video games, social media, and doomscrolling. It took me a decade of reading, researching, and developing personal skills to get to a place where I'm happy with my relationship to technology.
With skyrocketing rates of anxiety, depression, and loneliness related to screentime use: I realized it was my obligation to share the skills I've learned and empower others to build lives they love.
How My Work Will Benefit You
The main question I explore through my work is, “How can we harness the power of technology to better our lives, not hinder it?” The ideas and startegies that I'm sharing with you are those that I have actually applied and been helpful in my own life.
My focus is on:
- How to take control over our "screen addiction" tendencies that we've adopted as a society.
- How to build our lives around activities that enrich our lives, not drain us.
- How to unlock our goals by determining what bad screen-time habits are getting in our way.
- How to build community in an online age.
- How to disconnect and listen to your own voice.
Most of the insights I share are inspired by years of research, reading, and life experiences. I draw wisdom from a wide range of disciplines—psychology, philosophy, and neuroscience to craft actionable advice that fits into daily life.
As a society, we're navigating uncharted territory with the ever-growing role of technology in our lives. I believe we can harness its potential while protecting our well-being.
But it won't be easy, we need to take action and disrupt our well engrained habits.
My work isn't the only way to think about life and technology, but I hope it serves as a helpful guide. You can start by exploring my articles, joining my weekly newsletter with actionable insights, or consider joining the Screen Revolt: Thrive Program for 1:1 digital mindfulness skills training.
